Voigt Elementary School On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, F.A.C. students from Voigt Elementary Arts Integration Academy ventured through the rain to visit our neighbors, the residents of Trinity Place Apartments. Trinity Place Apartments is a caring community for the elderly and handicapped. Voigt students joined residents in the community center for a lively game of Bingo. It was a heartwarming event put together by Voigt teacher Dreena Tischler and Program Director Sherry Houston. Students and residents teamed up to help one another with number and letter recognition. Winning teams were awarded prizes put together by the Trinity Place Apartments. The energy was palpable in the room as both residents and students sat on the edge of their seats eagerly awaiting their chance to exclaim “BINGO!” This is the first time this partnership has occurred, but we look forward to continuing it, for the benefit of our students and the Trinity Place Apartment residents.
